Hell is a different set of Terrain, Bonuses, and Terrain Features that is brought into the world by the [[FfH Infernal (Civilization)|Infernal]] player having at least 1 owned plot.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Each plot has a hell count, from 0-100. If the hell count of a plot is 20 or higher, then the plot is hell. If it is 19 or lower, then the plot is not hell.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Infernal-owned tiles always have a Hell count of 100. Otherwise, any valid plot that is adjacent to 1 or more tiles with a hell count of 21 or greater increases its hell count by 1 for each such plot every turn.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Valid pots are:&lt;br /&gt;
* Any plot owned by a civilization with the Ashen Veil as their state religion.&lt;br /&gt;
* Any unowned plot (if the Armageddon counter is &amp;gt;= 25)&lt;br /&gt;
* Any plot owned by an evil player (if the Armageddon counter is &amp;gt;= 50)&lt;br /&gt;
* Any plot owned by a neutral player (if the Armageddon counter is &amp;gt;= 75)&lt;br /&gt;
If the plot is not a valid plot, it reduces its hell count by 10 each turn.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Note that any Burnt Forest with a hell count of 10 or more will not become New forest.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Note that [[FfH Demon (Promotion)|Demon]]s gain a bonus on Hell Terrain.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Any plot that is owned by a player with [[FfH Altar of the Luonnotar (consecrated) (Wonder)|Altar of the Luonnotar (consecrated)]], [[FfH Altar of the Luonnotar (divine) (Wonder)|Altar of the Luonnotar (divine)]], [[FfH Altar of the Luonnotar (exalted) (Wonder)|Altar of the Luonnotar (exalted)]], or [[FfH Altar of the Luonnotar (final) (Wonder)|Altar of the Luonnotar (final)]] has its hell count set to 0.&lt;br /&gt;
